The “The World of Thomas & Friends Exhibition – Stories of Working Engines” will be staged at Yokohama Takashimaya Gallery (8th floor) from April 15 to April 27, 2026, offering fans of Thomas & Friends a chance to explore the beloved locomotive universe up close. Doors are open daily 10:00–19:00 with last entry at 18:30 (and 10:00–17:00 with last entry at 16:30 on the final day), and ticket prices are scheduled at ¥1,200 for adults (¥1,000 in advance), ¥1,000 for university and high school students (¥800 in advance), and ¥600 for elementary and middle school students (¥500 in advance)—with free admission for preschoolers, and one accompanying guest free for visitors showing a disability handbook.
The exhibition is produced by the “The World of Thomas & Friends Exhibition” executive committee in cooperation with Mattel International, Sony Creative Products, Poplar Publishing, and the Railroad Model Museum, with planning and production by Toei. It’s part of a broader celebration of Thomas & Friends featuring immersive displays and activities that appeal to both children and longtime fans alike, with engaging content that brings the iconic stories of Thomas and his engine friends to life.
