Art and technology meet in Osaka this spring with the arrival of the European Digital Art Experience: The Immersive in Osaka, opening in early May at Seaside Studio CASO in the Osaka Bay Area.
Part of the Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival 2025, this exhibition brings Europe’s most cutting-edge immersive digital art to Japan for the first time. Organized in collaboration with the European Union, it features large-scale video mapping, light installations, and soundscapes curated by Italian visual artist Stefano Fake, founder of The Fake Factory.

The exhibition runs until Wednesday, May 14th, and coincides with the EU's National Day celebrations on May 9. Visitors can experience works from a wide range of leading European digital artists and collectives, including Videogeist, Pixel Shapes, Rocco Helmchen & Johannes Kraas, and many more.
The exhibition promises to offer visitors a unique sensory journey using "phygital" technology, blending physical and digital spaces in a dynamic way. It is a highlight of the Osaka Kansai Expo season, and a rare opportunity to experience Europe's newest immersive art without leaving Japan.
