With the southern tip of Oze National Park nestled in the north of Gunma Prefecture, the area is a nature lover's retreat. Oze homes the largest highland marsh in Japan and is famous for its rich vegetation and unusual plant life. Oze National Park offers visitors a taste of the great outdoors of Japan, with hiking, trekking, and nature. There's a six-kilometer path that encircles Ozenuma Pond and can make for a relaxing time, listening to the sounds of nature.
The park also touches the neighboring prefectures, Niigata, Fukushima, and Tochigi prefectures. However, it's said that some of the most stunning views with mountainous silhouettes can be seen from Gunma. The best time to visit the park is between May and October when the Ice-Age era flora are blooming and green. You'll be drawn to the yellow flowers of skunk cabbage plants along with the day lilies blossoming among the tall marsh grasses. A wooden walkway has been provided for you to thoroughly enjoy the area and everything it has to offer.
The Hatomachitoge trailhead is the most popular starting point within Gunma due to its close proximity to the marshlands. Hikers should be well prepared and carry water (as well as keep their trash for the return trip) before setting out from Tokura on the shuttle bus. The roads to Hatomachitoge trailhead are closed to private vehicles during the peak seasons, from May to October.
From JR Joetsu Line's Numata Station, take a bus to Tokura or Oshimizu. The trip takes about 4 hours from Tokyo.
Лучшее посещение Национального парка Озэ может быть в пик осеннего сезона, когда вы сможете насладиться желтоватой или коричне..

Я давно знаю о красоте Национального парка Озэ, но только недавно понял, как близко к нему живу.
