The Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum houses artifacts, relics, and information relating to the tragic nuclear bombing that took place in 1945 on August 9th. This museum is the sister museum to the one in Hiroshima, which also depicts the tragedies of nuclear warfare and the suffering of the victims. These two locations remind visitors of the indiscriminate nature of war and the casualties of the aftermath.
