If you're interested in design, you may have already come across the term "Japandi" before. It' fuses elements of Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian functionality, and has surged in popularity over recent years. An exhibition taking place in Tokyo titled "Japan DI-NA" will explore the DNA of Japandi design via two well-known creatives – Danish flower artist Nicolai Bergmann, and Japanese ceramic artist Yuki Nara.
Ceramic pieces designed by Nara will be decorated with flower arrangements created by Bergmann, blending the best of the two worlds together.
Admission to the event is free of charge.
Getting there
The Nicolai Bergmann Flowers & Design Flagship Store is located just two minutes on foot from the A5 exit of Omotesando Station. The station is served by the Tokyo Metro's Ginza, Hanzomon, and Chiyoda lines.
As there is no dedicated parking area at the venue, visitors are advised to utilize public transport wherever possible.
