Milks Ebisu [Closed]

Many of us probably recall ice cream parties from our childhoods. Ice creams in all colors and flavors, sprinkles, syrups - it's the stuff that dreams are made of. Milks in Ebisu puts their own unique "adults only" spin on the humble ice cream party, by offering a range of alcoholic liqueurs to top your ice cream with.

You have a number of different options when it comes to your ice cream set. We opted for the "Milks Puchi" set (¥1280 plus tax), which included a serving of ice cream, our choice of two liqueurs, and a coffee or tea. The ice cream size surprised us - you get a lot of it! The idea is to pick up a scoop of ice cream, ladle a few drops of your chosen liqueur over the ice cream, and enjoy them together. If you do want to add additional liqueurs to the set you can do so, at an additional ¥200 per selection.

I personally went with a tropical vibe for my liqueurs, choosing Malibu Coconut and Mangoyam. They complimented each other exceptionally well, and tasted very smooth alongside the vanilla ice cream. My husband went a different route, and picked the Mozart Chocolate Cream and Jossie Earl Grey liqueurs. He gravitated towards the chocolate cream liqueur more, but it's chocolate - so who can blame him, really?!

The store offers other set options which include a choice of several petit fours with your ice cream and liqueur. If you don't drink, or perhaps you're driving, there are a number of non-alcoholic liqueur choices available on their menu too, so you can still enjoy the fun!

English menus are available, and last orders are taken half an hour before closing time each day.
