Tokyo’s hotel rooms have a reputation for generally being on the small side, but the guest rooms at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingu Gaien Premier are as spacious as they are comfortable. Each one features a private balcony, and you can choose from a variety of layouts, including some with a kitchenette for longer stays. The hotel interiors incorporate the warmth of wood with colors inspired by nature. All rooms are non-smoking for guest comfort.

Enjoy all-day dining at the Ristorante & Bar E’volta. In the morning, guests are greeted by freshly baked bread and cured meat from the hotel’s woodfire kilns. During lunch and dinner, Italian cuisine meets Japanese style for delicious fusion dishes. In warmer months, guests can take advantage of the weather and dine on the outdoor terrace. And for a meal on the go, the hotel’s bakery offers takeout items.

Staying in shape while traveling is no problem. The hotel has a fully-equipped gym, including training machines, mats and stretch poles, for the use of guests 16 and over. And for complete relaxation, why not try bathing the Japanese way in a large public bath? Soaking in the hot water is the perfect way to refresh yourself physically and mentally. The public baths are separated by gender.

The Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingu Gaien Premier provides convenient access to a number of attractions. These include the New National Stadium, the site for various sporting and cultural events; and Shinjuku Gyoen, one of Tokyo’s most beautiful parks. For history and culture, there is the Meiji Historical Picture Gallery, which tells the story of the Meiji Restoration through art; and the Akasaka Palace.

“You can enjoy the changing scenery through the seasons from our rooftop balcony, and you can see Mt. Fuji in clear weather,” says Yuta Inoue from the hotel’s front desk department, adding that he hopes guests will consider the hotel their home away from home. “Our staff are looking forward to meeting you!”
