From July 9th until August 31st, Tokyo's Sanrio Puroland theme park will be hosting their Summer Puro 2021 event to celebrate all things kawaii.
There will be stage performances by some Sanrio favorites including Hello Kitty, Dear Daniel, Pompompurin, and Cinnamoroll, and the ability to take photos with your favorite characters. There will also be a variety of adorable merchandise available to purchase, and some of the options can be viewed online here.
Fans of themed food don't miss out here either - the event will offer numerous adorable dishes at the 1st floor character food court. Some of the offerings include a Tuxedo Sam blue curry, a Pochakko Minced Cutlet Curry, and Hello Kitty char siu noodles.
Getting there
Sanrio Puroland is located less than ten minutes on foot from Tama Center Station, which is served by the Keiō Sagamihara Line, the Odakyū Tama Line, and the Tama Toshi Monorail Line.
