Chiba Prefecture's Tokyo German Village provides a slice of Europe in Japan, and from November to January, they hold a Christmas market event. The village will be beautifully decorated with lanterns featuring motifs of Santa Claus, reindeer, and traditional German puppets, plus a giant lantern pyramid standing eight meters high serving as a focal point.
Along with the festive lights, attendees can enjoy German beer, mulled wine, and strawberry rum hot chocolate. Kid-friendly juices will also be available. On the food front, there will be some traditional German eats like currywurst, pretzels, and white sausage.
